For those who can’t eat tomatoes, this no tomato enchilada sauce is easy to make and is very good. Enjoy!
Ingredients2 cups No Tomato Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (or to taste) 1 tablespoon oil 2 tablespoons water (if needed)
Put all of the ingredients, except the water, into a small saucepan. Add water if needed to thin. Heat through for at least 10 minutes to blend flavors. Adjust salt to taste. Use in any recipe that calls for red enchilada sauce.
